Welcome to Sanctuary, a D&D 5E campaign set in Sanctuary, a thriving chaotic city on Caslona, the largest of a trio of isolated continental islands located at the heart of treacherous ocean on the far end of the world.

Adventurer, refugee, battleworn soldier, apprentice mage, cleric of one of a thousand gods, or aspiring crook, whoever you were and whatever you now wish to become, you find yourself standing at the start of a new story, one that with a bit of luck will guide you to your heart’s desires, earn a bit of gold, and perhaps even leave a name and legacy to rival the heroes of old.

Sanctuary teems with new beginnings and unfortunate ends. For the past 400 years, thousands have come seeking refuge from war, persecution, famine, justice, fate, and debt.  Some come seeking a fresh start. Some come to flee their pasts. Some come hoping to find lost fortunes, secret knowledge, or hidden wisdom. Still others come to prey on those foolish enough to linger too long in the dark alleys and dockside slums. And some, some were born here – whether into wealth and power, or into desperate poverty and fear. Whatever your reasons, you find yourself in Sanctuary, home to all who have no other home, final destination for those who have no other place to run.

Much of the island is unexplored and dangerous. Rumors abound of lost civilizations which preceded Sanctuary. Strange creatures haunt the depths of the island core. And some even say vampires once ruled the land and the sea!
